Pioneer Arts is a non-profit association located in Northern California that works to promote the visual arts and artists of Western Nevada County. Pioneer Arts provides a friendly and supportive meeting place for artists of all skill levels. Activities are designed to inspire and encourage members and guests in their artistic pursuits as well as to encourage
community service in the arts.
Meetings
Each year Pioneer Arts schedules 10 general meetings, each on the second Wednesday of the month. Highlighting 8 of the general meetings is the presentation by a guest artist in the form of a demonstration or lecture. Membership critiques are held twice a year. Non-members are welcome to attend 2 general meetings.
Where We Meet
The Center for the Arts, 314 W. Main Street Grass Valley.
November through April, meetings are held from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. May through October meetings are from 7:00 to 9:00pm.
